USB controller Host Mode on TM4C123GH6PM

I intend to use the USB module in Host mode only. Under these conditions can PB0 and PB1 be used as GPIO's, or do they have to be hardwired to obtain host mode functionality.

Regards

  • Nikhil Kant,

Yes, you can use PB0 and PB1 for GPIO's.  See data sheet section,

USB>Signal Description> If the USB controller is used as either a dedicated Host or Device, the DEVMODOTG and DEVMOD bits in the USB General-Purpose Control and Status (USBGPCS) register can be used to connect the USB0VBUS and USB0ID inputs to fixed levels internally, freeing the PB0 and PB1pins for GPIO use.
