PAN1323 interfacing with Tiva C TM4C123GH6PGE

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C123GH6PGE

Hello,

i am interfacing PAN!#@# bluetooth module with TM4C123GH6PGE(Tiva C) using UART signals,

what should i do with AUD_FSYNK, AUD_OUT, AUD_IN,AUD_OUT signals in PAN module,

and what is the option to give SLOW_CLK input to PAN from Tiva C series TM4C123GH6PGE

Awaiting reply

Thank you

  • Hi sangamesh,

I think you better post this question in the RF forums (http://e2e.ti.com/support/rf__digital_radio/default.aspx) .

The PAN1323 should contain the information how to handle these signals.

What is the required frequency for SLOW_CLK input? You could use i.e. a Timer to generate this frequency (depends on the required range).

    Kind regards

SPI is an obvious option.  The question is, do you want or need them?

A 1.8V 32khz crystal oscillator is the obvious answer.  Otherwise you need to take a 32khz clock output from the TM4C and run it through a level shifter.  It depends on how many spare pins you have on your level shifters for the rest of the signals between the TM4C and the PAN1323.

TI on its eval boards uses the following 3.3v part with the PAN1323ETU, which level shifts it to 1.8v:
