Windows 7 64-bit does not recognize Hercules Lauchpad

I have a Hercules launchpad LAUNCHXL-TMS57004, and after downloading CCS and Halogen, i plug it in, and windows does not recognize the device. Anyone else have any issues with it?

It should work with Windows-7 as well I guess.

Please make sure you have installed CCS along with the associated XDS drivers.

You should be able to look at the Hardware Device Manager to make sure the drivers are installed properly as shown below,

Using the information you gave me was helpful, however, I found that the Hercules was having issues with the USB port i was trying to use. Switching it to another port seemed to solve the problem. Thank you for the help.
