I wish to find out if the compiled math libraries that are used in Code Composer Studio (v5.1.0) use the double and single precision floating point unit in the Hercules R4F processors.
It may sound like a silly question, but I have searched a lot on the web and this forum for an answer and found none.
My application uses a lot of double precision maths and I need to be sure the DPFPU is being exercised.
I also want to confirm that there is no special setting needed to make use of the FPU with code that I compile.
Background info...
The math library header shows version 4.9.0
The compiler is for tms470
