help regarding rm48l952

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RM48L952, UCC27531, UCC27532

respected sir,

i am doing masters in electronics engineering and i  am doing my college project with Larsen and Tubro Ltd (Automation),project assigned to me is to make controller board for driving the grid inverter, company always prefer TI's micro controller for their products, they want me to design it using rm48l952 MCU.i am not familiar with the controller so i needed help for developing its hardware module.or should i go with evaluation board for the same..

  • Hi Vishwesh,

Can you let us know what all peripherals you will be using for your project?

Assuming you will be using peripherals like ADC, PWM etc, i would suggest you to take a look at the Kits available at:

    http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/microcontroller/safety_mcu/rm4_arm_cortex-r4/tools_software.page#kits

And select according to your requirements.

    Regards,

    Praveen

  • respected sir,

thanks a lot for your quick reply..

sir, project assigned to me is to design and develop controller card for 3 phase 150kw inverter which can be used as IGBT driver as well as it should control and monitor grid radiation and also synchronization with grid, its a solar  grid tie inverter  so that i need to apply MPPT(maximum power point tracking) algorithm as well.

actually i am confused about what should i go with.i already saw the link u provided.but i don't know what will be better choice among all the modules and kits,i am also interested in TI's UCC27531 & UCC27532 igbt drivers.i am making a prototype, once it is designed and working properly company will put it into production.they always prefer TI's components and boards,so i need make it cost effective also.

can u please suggest me which one of these kits us perfect for it..

    regards,

    Vishwesh.
