Is there an example HID datapipe project for Tiva Arms

Hello all, I'm new to ARMs and have decided to dive into the Tiva C TM4C123G Launchpad since I'd like to use a more powerful micro in a design I'm working on. I originally developed a lot with the MSP430F5x chips and used the example Hid data pipe as a starting point. This was a really great solution and I have spent a while scouring the website for something like that, but for the Tivas. My question, is there a HID datapipe example project for CCS for the TIVA C chips? I have Tivaware and the USB libraries, but there are not a lot of examples. Also, since I'm new to this it seems a little daunting to just go for it since there was a lot of configuration regarding clocks, descriptors, PLLs etc for the MSP430's.

To get a feel for the basic "how-to", I suggest grabbing TivaWare from the web and going through some of the basic examples like the quickstart (qs-rgb), hello world, etc. That should at least get you going.

As for a generic data pipe for USB, the closest thing we have is the usb_dev_bulk example. That'll give you a generic bulk pipe that you can use.

Hi Robbie,

There are examples using Keyboard, Mouse and other common HID devices that you can find in my attachment- cool work with documentation by Jeff Lawrence. You may have to modify the descriptors and some piece of code to make it a generic data pipe.

If all you want is transfer data from the PC to the Stellaris, I would recommend the CDC or Bulk libraries.
