Hi,
We are using Tiva processor for a safety Class B required product. A lot of processpr manufacturers provide the safety check library. Does TI have the safety check library specifically for the Tiva processor? Thanks.

Sorry - we don't supply any safety library for Tiva C series parts.
Thanks. For which family, do you provide the class B safety library? Also, before TI purchased Luminary, Luminary provided IEC 60730 Class B library for the Stellaris family. Can that library be applied to Tiva family? If yes, where can I find that library.
Thanks.
We removed the old IEC60730 Stellaris library a while ago because it had become outdated and didn't support newer devices or current versions of all the toolchains. If you Google "stellaris IEC60730 software" you will find the appnote relating to this library on some external sites and you may be fortunate enough to find the code elsewhere too (though I didn't find a link in the first couple of pages I saw).
Hello Jay,
We have SafeTI(tm) Diagnostic libraries for the Hercules Safety MCU ARM Cortex-R products for IEC 61508 (SIL-3 capable). While they have not been assessed or certified as suitable for IEC 60730 we believe that they will fulfill the requirements.
If you are interested, you can learn more at www.ti.com/hercules and www.ti.com/safeti.
Best Regards, Brian
Brian:
Thanks. I'll check if we can port them to the Tiva processor with minimum modifications.
Jay
Hi, Brian:
Can you send me the IEC60730 safety library for C2000 family? I'll review it and then implement the similar functionality in our Tiva based product. I submitted the request for download the package in your web. It seems your review process takes quite loger time for this package.
Thanks.
Jay
