uVision: How set up an .ini file for debugging?

Hi,

I want debug my program from the internal SRAM. There for I need an initialisation-file (.ini) for the debugger. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a documentation how to write such a file.

I'm using a stellaris launchpad (LM4F120H5QR now TM4C123) and a ULINK2 debugger.

Does anybody know, how to set up the .ini file or can provide a link or a documentation concerning the topic?

Regards Jannis

  • Hi,

Perhaps, are you referring to the startup file? From what I read the .ini file for Keil Uvision is a debugger script file.

  • Hi,

i think I my question isn't as clear as it should be.

I'm looking for the debugger script file which configurates the processor before runnig my aplication

This method is also used in a example with the STM32F4 Discovery.

  • Hi,

Your question is specific to Keil tools - so the their documentation must reveal this. I searched the Keil site and found this:

    http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3156.htm
Please note also it is not mandatory to use this file, although may help you. Read the TI's document below which shows how to manage a Keil project:
