We are using for a safety application the TMS570LS20216 and we need a breakdown of its own internal functional blocks with the relevant failure rate. Is this data available?

    Hello Mario,

    The TMS570LS20x products are an older generation product and the safety deliverables are available but not as comprehensive as those available for our newer products.  In general, we recommend that new developments start using the TMS570SL31x/21x product instead.  Typically this also provides a benefit in terms of cost reduction.

    Thanks Karl,  I was having a hard time finding the answer to this question.

    I noticed that for the newer Hercules products like the RM48,  the information about what is available in the safety collateral package is listed in the appendix B,  Development Interface Agreement.   Especially like Appendix B3.

    Any chance of putting this sort of table in the LS20x safety manual so it's clear what is / is not available?

    At this point in time there are no plans for further update to TMS570LS20x/10x documents. This can certainly be implemented if the plans change.
