Halcogen codes for USB driver

Having a quick review of the USB driver files generated by Halcogen, it appears to me that they are mostly intended for "device" mode operation.  From reading some previous discussion in the forum regarding implementing USB host on the RM4x, is it still true that TI is not going to provide any board support package or example project for USB host implementation?

    What we've done for USB so far is funded at least one 3P port of a commercial USB stack.  My own thought is that this software is complex enought that for a real project you would need commercial support. 

    May I ask your opinion on this approach versus something like the LUFA project that has been suggested on other posts?  Would you really prefer that model for something as complex as USB host?
