Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS3137

I'm not sure about the v-8 but I'm guessing you can't find the J-LINK at all.

    There are instructions here:    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/J-Link_Emulator_Support

explaining how to download the jlink package.  I've tried it and it works well and is fast.  but I didn't pay attention to the version of the JLINK - sorry.  I can check when back in the office if you still have trouble.

  • Hi:

follow the instructions ,i can find J-LINK in ccs now, but i still have a question,  when i download the code to the chip, the ccs shows me the messages  :

"CortexR4: Trouble Reading Register REG_AHB_DOWNLOAD: No mapped register was found for 1627402249 CortexR4: Trouble Writing Register REG_AHB_DOWNLOAD: No mapped register was found for 1627402249 CortexR4: Trouble Writing Register REG_AHB_DOWNLOAD: No mapped register was found for 1627402249"

i am not sure i can ignore the messages directly.

  • Hi LC,

We need to track that down (I get the same error messages) but they seem to not cause any trouble so far.

So just ignore them for now.

  • OK,thank you!
