Parameter overlay module problem

Hello Jiri,

There is another register inside the POM module that defines the upper 9 bits of the target overlay memory address. These 9 bits are in the POM Global Control Register and default to 0x60. You can reprogram this field to your desired target overlay memory address. Try this and let me know.

I know about OTADDR. This is small misunderstanding in understanding word "target".

I thing target as place in flash where is placed patch from RAM by POM. And documentation mean "target" as place in RAM where is spare content. My fault.

In another words, POM functionality depend to POMPROGSTARTx. For me it not work when POMPROGSTARTx < 0x60000. Why?

Can you upload a snapshot of all the POM control registers?

In attachment is small binary snapshot from 0xFFA04000  till 0xFFA05000. (complete POM setting)

With this content it works perfectly because destination in Flash is address 0x280000. Patch is 64 bytes comming from 0x0800C380.

When I made only one modification POMPROGSTART0 = 0x1000. I want to read replacement content on address 0x1000, but I read original flash content. :-(

Also, do accesses to flash memory area via JTAG bypass the POM, or should JTAG (debuggers) see POM overlays?
