Bluetopia on DK-TM4C129X

We are trying to run the Bluetopia stack on a TM4C129XNCAD running on the DK-TM4C129X kit. The bluetooth chip is a CC256XQFNEM module with an added 32.768 kHz oscillator.

We are using the SPPLEDemo sample and have modified the build scripts to point to TivaWare, and HALCFG and HCITRANS to use the correct serial port and the correct systemclock.

The application starts up and begins to initialize the stack, but after the stack has called HCITR_COMOpen (successfully) it hard faults. The stacked PC points to RAM and the IBUSERR flag is set.

Has anyone successfully ported the stack to the TM4C129-devices?

Regards

Jimmie

  • Short follow up.

Copied the interrupt vector from a TivaWare sample and that got rid of the hardfault. It is now possible to control the application via the console, but the device is not visible "in the air". I'm using the instructions on SPPLEDemo APP wiki and the system gives the correct responses, but when scanning for the unit nothing is found.

    Anyone?

  • The final piece of the puzzle was the patch-file for the CC2564B module. The Bluetopia stack for Stellaris does not include the correct patch file, and dowloading the bts file did not help either.

Luckily I found that the Bluetopia stack for MSP430 contains the correct patch file and after adding that everything started to work.

  • Hello Jimmie,

I need you help in Porting the Stellaris Bluetopia SPPDemo to TIVA 129CX board.

Can you provide me details how you ported the code.

I am having hard times in porting the code.

    Thanks,
