Regarding Tiva TM4C129x MCU

Hi Everyone,

Does TM4C129x MCU have I2S interface, if not means can i use the dual SPI emulating I2S in TM4C123x for this also the RAM is not sufficent in TM4C123x? kindly help me on this

My question is new tiva 129x MCU is having I2S interface or not?

Looking at the datasheet there is no mention of I2S.

However, the Quad Synchronous Serial Interface (QSSI) module has a Bi-SSI mode which could be used to generate the SCLK, word select and serial data signals for I2C. The complication is that the software would have to interleave the word select and serial data signals in the data output by the QSSI.

Hi Sir, Thanks for your reply sir. Like TM4C123x is it possible to generate I2S using two SPI interfaces? Is there any sample programs for register writings in AIC3254 from where i can get it sir? If you have any sample programs, please share it. Regrads, Aravind

There "do" exist similar MCUs w/this full, modern capability - requiring NO such "monkey motion!" (apologies to simians...)

Thanks, I was able to get my data as PCM over SSI. Real need for I2S would be a nightmare:-(
