usb_dev_keyboard example for Tivaware

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C123GXL

I'm new to microcontrollers but have a Tiva C EK-TM4C123GXL which I would like to use as a USB HID Keyboard. I found an example application in the old Stellarisware but this particular example seems to be missing from the re-branded Tivaware 1.1.

I have tried following the guidelines for porting a project from Stellarisware to Tivaware but have found this to be an arduous process due to my unfamiliarity with the tools. I have finally gotten the example to compile without errors or warnings but Windows doesn't recognize the TM4123GXL as an HID Keyboard. i.e., when I launch the application, Windows dings like a USB device was plugged in, then I get a message stating that it is a bad USB device.

Before I invest MORE time with this, can anyone advise if there is actually a Tivaware USB HID Keyboard example that I am just overlooking? Why would an example be removed from the software?

I am using CCS 5.4 and Tivaware 1.1
