compdcm_mpu9150 Sensor Hub example

Hi,

Have loaded the program as supplied unadulterated as yet. There have been I noticed some talk of the accuracy of the data and I do see the raw data ,Eulers and Quaternions all fluctuate to some extent.

Can someone at TI advise me if this is to be expected and within the specifications of the device or is it only an example which can be improved upon or perhaps it is a Sensor Hub hardware issue.

I am asking these questions now before I spend some time chasing the instability.

Regards,

Lee.

Take a look at this thread:

  • Hi Pak,

I did follow that thread through and the obvious  lack of resolution there despite much work done. I'm currently looking at the raw data functions and comparing to the specs. I also wish to try the 9150 fusion data thats built in the chip to see if it is an improvement and then probably try a Kalman filter.

I will still talk to a TI employee about this as they are usually very helpful.
