Tiva virtual com port

Hi,

I am using DK-Tm4c129x.I am installing Stellaris ICDI driver as given in instructions.I see ICDI DFU device and ICDI JTAG/SWD interface are there in device manager but virtual com port is not there.So I can not get serial output on Teraterm.Can you guys help me,Why virtual com port is not installed?

Hi Jam,

I don't have your set-up to duplicate your problem. See, if you are setting the power select jumper(J11) to ICDI. See, from the video at the link below and the User's Guide.

Thanks for help.

Although It does not appear in device manager,I have checked it on multiple computers,But I have found it in TeraTerm and my serial is working.

It is unusual not to see the virtual com port under "ports" at device manager. However, if you are able to see the output at Tera Term, then somehow that is okay.
