DK-TM4C129X unknown device problem

     What was the last action you did to the DK-TM4C129X before this "unknown device" problem.?

My last action is not different normaly action.

Just build code and start debug. but debug is not start at this time.

Hi Mahmut,

Some modification to your code may cause to lose JTAG communication. See, link below for some info. Have you done the same to have caused this problem? If you have done so, try the LM Flash Programmer Debug Port Unlock Utility. Select TM4C129x classes.

Also, post a snapshot of your device manager showing the "unknown device" problem.

My problem is not same. but i tried to unlock but i get "failed to unlock connected device" error mesage.

You see on the picture "unknown device" .

also i connected  TM4C123 Launchpad with same cable, there is no any problem.

I think  i will reproggrammed TM4C123GH6PM chip on ICDI circuit, problem is solved. But i don't have project files icdi programmer.

  The ICDI binary file is not something that TI provides. 

   What debugger are you using?

   What version of LM Flash Programmer are you using? 

   What steps did you take when you were last able to program the DK successfully?

Given that TI has the ICDI binary already available and several people on this forum have had a need for the binary (and source!), can you please let me know why TI does not provide the binary (and source)?

I'm sure there is a reason, I just don;t see it.

The reply by TI Dave was "Although it is possible to update the ICDI firmware using JTAG, we are not presently releasing the firmware binary to do this. " This I know. I just want to know why.

Hi Ken,

-I am using KEIL. 

-LM Flash Programmer  is BUILD 1583.

- I did not any diffrent action. I am using this DK since 1 month every day for proggramming and debugging my card. My card has TM4C129ENCDT ic. Last steps ı just add a uart settings code and compile without problem. But debug mode not started. I ejected  and connected DK USB cable, after that problem was started. 

I tried different PC different USB cable but problem is same.

Also TI must be provide ICDI files.

For example I have 2 TM123XGL LP but they can't programming TM4C129X series. 

I don't have alternative programmer and my project is stopped!
