XDS200 and TM4C129X development board

HI when trying to use XDS200 and TM4C129X development board. I get the following message:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1265 @ 0x0)
Device ID is not recognized or is not supported by driver. Confirm device and emulator configuration is correct, or update device driver.
(Emulation package 5.1.232.0)

XDS200 is connected to J3 using the 20 pin adapter supplied by Spectrum Digital.

I configured project settings to use Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB emulator. Everything  doesworks with the ICDI USB but not the XDS200 with same code etc.

Any idea what how to resolve this?

Thanks

Glenn

  • Hi Glenn,

Check the following post. There were details that emerged as we worked it out.

  • Thanks for the reply. There is a huge amount of information in the thread you directed me to. Can you boil it down to the exact steps I need? I'm kind of getting the idea it would be better to return the XDS200 I ordered from the TI online store.

    Thanks

  • Hi Glenn,

    Simple steps

    1. Find out what type of header is there on the XDS200 which would be connected to the TM4C129

    2. Use the table in the link below to correctly connect the pins to the TM4C129 Launch Pad and unused pins to correct tie-off or loopbacks
