Tiva Launchpad - USB Host circuit

Hello,

I want to implement a USB tick logger using the TIVA Launchpad. I have chosen to power the board using the ICDI connector connected to my PC (i.e. with the selector switch switched appropriately to debug mode in the board). Now, I read that the PB0 and PB1 pins have to be connected to the Ground and VBus USB respectively of the USB connector. I understand that by switching the selector switch to 'Device' mode will make these connections.

But, suppose i want to use this USB host functionality while at the same time keeping the device switch in Debug mode, what hardware changes do I have to make?
