RM42: FEE + HALCoGen

Hi guys,

I am looking into Flash Eeprom Emulation (FEE) using the TI FEE library generated by HALCoGen. However there are no option to generate FEE code if I want to create an RM42L43 project.

However that option is available if I select the TMS570LS0432 processor, which has the same memory map as far as I can tell from the datasheet.

Will the code generated for TMS570LS0432 be compatible with my RM42L43 MCU or can I do something else to make HALCoGen support my processor ? :)

I am using HALCoGen 3.06.00

Mikkel,

normally, the difference between RM and TMS570 would be that RM is little endian part and boot up codes will take care of that.

however, i am not sure about the FEE library reused from TMS570 to RM part. I will let the FEE owner comment on it.

Hi Mikkel,

HALCoGen 03.06.00 did not have support for RM devices. Please use HALCoGen 03.08.00 for FEE support on RM devices.
