RM48 nError pin active after startup

I observed that in some cases the nError pin of RM48L952 is active after startup (at antry point of the main() ). But the corresponding status register says that there is no error pending ( ESMSR1 == 0, ESMSR2 == 0, ESMSR3 == 0, ESMSR4==0 and ESMSSR2 == 0).

Why is the pin active, but no error is pending? Does anyone have an idea?

Does a PORRST\ power on reset clear the ERROR pin condition?

The nError pin clears on a PORRST\. But with calling the esmInit() in the HalCoGen-Code, the nError pin will get set again.

can you please share your esminit() or project?

The fact that reset toggles it means that it is not stucked. Somewhere in the codes, the ESM error pin is tested and not being released correctly.

Hi Henry,

In the attachment you can see my esm.c.

What happens if an error condition occurs, but the error won't be cleared manually? Is the condition after power on reset still true?
