How to Access micro SD card in SPI interface with TMS570 MCU

1. what is the micro SD card size that i can test on the TMS570 MCU HDK board ?

QJW> You can use any SD card which supports SPI mode. 

2. I have used one 4 GB microSD card on TMS570 MCU HDK but while testing it reports "Failed to Reset Flash Card".

    why this was happened? For this testing i was used the TMS 570 MCU demo software.

QJW> The test code included in HDK connectivity test project only works for SD card with 2GB or less.

3. In the HDK block diagram SPI2 is connected to microSD slot. but in the demo code "muxing for MibSPI3 " was done.

    why this i would like to know?

QJW> The HDK uses SPI2 for SD card. The MibSPI3 configuration in the function is not necessary. 

4. If any example code available then let me know.
