Hi,
I'm using the DRV8301-LS31-kit with the TMS570 control card. I want to make the motor-drive stand alone from the sample GUI that comes with the install CDs.
Or if there are some samples that I could use, that would be great.
Thank you,
Nate

Nate,
Please take a look at this project and let me know if it solves your problems.

Haixiao,
Thanks for the help, but let me rephrase my question.
I want to download some code from the computer to the control card itself so that I can use the controls that are soldered to the board (speed control pot, start and stop buttons, etc.). I'm having a hard time finding manuals or instructions on how to do this. If you could help me in that respect, that would be great.
Also, the kit came with a sample GUI that communicates with the control card and powers the motor. Is there anyway to extract the code that runs the GUI and just download that onto the control card.
Sorry it was not as clear before, but thank you very much for your help,
Nate
Nate,
It could be done. You add a few commands in the sys_main.c to start/stop and adjust motor speed based on ADC result.
It is not difficult but still take some time to do it. Let me see if I can get an example next week.

Haixiao
Haixiao,
I just wanted to touch base since I hadn't heard from you in a week. Also I found the UniFlash program, the Quick Start Guide was a little scarce on information on how to use it. But I was led to believe there is a way I could use this to flash code to the microcontroller. Is that true?
Thank you very much for all of your help
Best,
Nate
