my apn : ppwap Service provider : Dialog ; dialog.lk what I dial from the Huawei Dongl software: *99# no username or password
when I plug the dongle there are two COM ports created at 9600 BAUD COM4 and COM5 are of same baud. I use PUTTY to send AT commands to COM4. COM4 respnds to AT commands but NOT COM5.
Can someone please tell me the sequence of commands I need to tpye to call a URL over HTTP? or any other method to send my data?
the data I am sending are some GPS coordinates.
If you like to help me further, Can you also tell me any other possible ways to send data to my Server hosed at hostgator? I dont have root access to their server. Only a normal account with MySQL and php and unlimited storage and etc..
how about FTP? is that much reliable? Are there any other methods to send data to a server than HTTP and FTP?
what are these conection types? this ppp and gprs etc. im little confused..
