Is there a limitation to the combination of values for HR Prescale & LR Prescale ?

The TRM doesn't suggest so, but HALCoGen 03.08.00 seems to limit the values.

(Being purposefully simplistic)

i.e. With a 100MHz clock, I cannot select a LR Time of 50nS (HR=5, LR=1) or 60nS (HR=3, LR=2)

Shouldn't the Loop Time (nS) field show a more obvious progression to generate an Actual LR Time(nS) ?

David,

HR and LR in Halcogen, are not directly selectable.
You can enter the Loop Time in ns or the HR clock in Mhz.
Halcogen will calculate the closest LR and HR value and provide the actual HR clock and Loop Time base on your VCLK2 in Mhz.

Just as a reminder, LR=1 is not real practical value. You will have only 1 Time Slot for you HET program meaning that only 1 instruction can be executed with a TS.
