tiva c and battpack

I have a tiva and the fuel tank launchpad. I can`t startup the program when i power up the system directly from the battery. The only way to runs programs is conect usbpower and baterry power and then disconect the usb. And the the program keeps running.

Any solution?

I have a few questions to help me better understand the setup.

1) Are the "5V Out" and "3.3V Out" jumpers connected or disconnected?

2) Is the battery fully charged?

3) When you connect USB power, which connector are you using?

4) Are the "BAT LOW" and/or "CHARGING" LEDs active at any time?

Bobby, the typical hardware connection are ok, the 3.3V, battery fully charged ("BAT LOW" and/or "CHARGING" LEDs off).

Besides, the usb power is first from Debug. And Second, I change the swicth to device position and then i connect the battery. Finally the tiva never runs (i tested the 3.3V on devices and its ok).

It sounds like what might be happening is that the 3.3V Out jumper is connected, but the 5V Out jumper is not connected. It is recommended that the 5V Out jumper be connected when powering the Launchpad from the battery pack.

There is a circuit on the Launchpad board that will hold the processor in RESET until the 5V supply is stable. If the 5V Out jumper is not connected, the Launchpad will continue to be held in RESET.
