Is Tiva TM4C129x Supported by Keil MDK 5?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C129XNCZAD

Hi,

We are planning to use TM4C129x development kit along with Keil MDK 5. But, after downloading Keil MDK 5 when I checked its pack installer, I could not find the said TI microcontroller in their list.

I have referred to this document www.ti.com/lit/ml/spmu355/spmu355.pdf from TI website.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

Regards,

Anup H

  • In KEIL MKD4 version 4.7X the various TM4C129XNCZAD parts are listed under the device menu without needing any add-on packages.

In addition, the TM4C129/TM4E129 1024KB Flash option is listed under the Flash Download menu.

I noticed that the 512KB option was not listed, but it shouldn't be hard to add. (just take the 1024 def and change few lines I assume)

MDK5 is still new so you might want to stick with MDK4 for a while, but TI should have this added soon to MDK5 built-in.
