Hello Harsha,
The LCD module can only access SRAM or an external memory connected to EPI. It cannot access the Flash directly.

Might be a silly question, but I want to know how can we get an idea of display pixel resolution when the specs say the lcd controller capability is 40*8 segments or so?
Thanks & Regards,

Hello Harsha,
Which section of the LCD Controller Specification in TM4C129 is this mentioned?

Amit
No, this is not mentioned in TM4C129 data sheet, in general I asked.

Hello Harsha,
Can you point me to the spec for the concerned panel? Character displays that I have used come in single line, dual line, quad line with 40 pixels (8pixels H and 5 pixels wide) per character and upto 40 characters in a line. Thus
A single line display would be 200 pixels wide and 8 pixels high
A dual line display would be 200 pixels wide and 16 pixels high
A quad line display would be 200 pixels wide and 32 pixels high
Regards
Amit
