Hi,
I think that MAC + PHY would make more sense for a 64 to 100 pin count Microcontroller.
Someone can tell if the Texas has plans to release a low pin count version of the TM4C129x?
Ari.

Hello Ari
There are no plans to release MAC+PHY in 64-100 pin option. The smallest pin count is 128 for the same, as you may notice that MII and RMII also come packaged along with the MAC+PHY

Amit,
Can you that why not?
If I choose a chip with MAC + PHY my intension is make my hardware simple, but my hardware can't be simple if the chip have 128 pins. I would rather a 64 pin Microcontroller plus a 32 pin external phy.

Hello Ari,
As I mentioned earlier, right there are no 64 or 100 pin package planned for TM4C129x. I will check with mktg if there is a plan in the near furture.
