We are in the process of developing a board that uses the TMS570LS1225 337-pin BGA.
Looking at the datasheet (SPNS191A) and Technical Reference Manual (SPNU515A) there is reference to 22 address lines, but on the pinout of the 337-pin BGA (ZWT) it only shows ADDR[0] to ADDR[12]. this would be 8K paging.
At 8K pages this seems a bit low and then looking at the TMS570LS12x evaluation board from TI there is address lines on No Connect (NC) pins.
Can any provide some insight in what we are overlooking?
Thanks in advance
Gerald,
As far as TMS570LS1225 is concerned we only have from EMIF_ADDR[0] to EMIF_ADDR[12].
HDK schematics were commonly designed to cater other hercules devices which are pin compatible with TMS570LS1225, since those devices support more EMIF ADDR bits those are connected accordingly.
Hope this clarifies your question.
