i need lx4f232h5qcf1ga3 datasheet n related document(not able to find in ti website)

Hello,

I am new to Stellaris and am very excited to get started with my new  lx4f232h5qcf1ga3.
I have worked with silabs and have been introduced to the concept of working with registers in the 8051
I am having trouble using the keil IDE and am learning to use the various registers etc.
I need some sort of guidance or tutorial to get me started.
I have also gone through the datasheet and other documentation, but it seems a little confusing since i am used to arduino's codes.
i tried to write the blinky program but im confused as to how to add the lx4f232h5qcf1ga3 file to the blinky.c.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks

  • Hi Rashmi,

         Are you using EK-LM4F232 kit? There is a blinky example program at the Tivaware. It has this #define include below.

         #include "inc/lm4f232h5qd.h"

    -kel

  • Starting with a new IDE most always proves a challenge - you are not alone.  Suggest that rather than your, "Creating an entirely "new" project - instead you begin with one already provided by your IDE vendor.  (Keil, in your case)  Resist the "pull" of "your special project" - begin with something well-tested and "proven" - and that always results from use of the IDE vendor's "sample projects."  (and almost never - your own!)

    While you list your board & MCU as, "new" (indeed new to you) that board and MCU have been out beyond 2 years - and in that timeframe LX4Fxxx has, "gone the way of all flesh."  Vendor has a new series - we're told just a, "paint job" - although the LX4F's "promotion" to LM4F never occurred - and we're told that new parts are, "the same."  That clear?

    You've clearly identified the LX4F marking upon an actual MCU - perhaps a Google search for that device but under, "LM4Fxxx" (MCU manuals did not fully acknowledge LX4F reality) will yield the desired result.
