Tiva C Connected (TM4C129x) EtherNet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) Support

A customer is interested in using the TI TM4C129x series MCUs with integrated Ethernet MAC & PHY for i.e. a flow meter application. In addition, the customer intends to use the EtherNet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) application layer protocol that is transferred inside a TCP/IP Packet. That means that EtherNet/IP is simply the way data is organized in a TCP or UDP packet. Ref: http://www.rtaautomation.com/ethernetip/

Could the customer expect that this application layer protocol can simply be added to the TivaWare Ethernet stack to obtain EtherNet/IP functionality?  Does TI have any application notes or any information for customers using Ethernet/IP with TI TM4C129x series MCUs? What about information on availability and compatibility of third-party source code Stack such as Real Time Automation’s EtherNet/IP Server Source Code Stack?
