Hello,
I have ordered the Sharp LCD BoosterPack for my EK-TM4C1294XL. I am developing in Energia. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to bring this display up? What software to use, etc.
Much Thanks!

Hello Ler,
The first thing you would need to check is if the pins are in the same manner as on the booster pack connector as it is on the EK-TM4C129XL Launch Pad.
If not then you would be required to run wire either through the bread board connector or from the connector on the Launch Pad.

Amit,
Thanks for the response. I have looked at the schematics and it does appear I can connect the device to the BoosterPack 2 connections. So I think schematically I will be fine. I was wondering where I start in terms of software libraries, etc, and if anyone has implemented this display in the energia environment.

Hello Ler,
Please note that the slider control and SPI_CS on the Sharp LCD Booster pack does not map to the Booster Pack-2 pins on the LaunchPad.

LER,
I had a question about a previous post that you made -
http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/pmu/f/43/t/849.aspx
Did you ever find the root cause for your excessive current? We are seeing a very similar problem on parts that we are using with a 2009 date code.

Mike,
I ended up buying this chip on a small board from Mistral. It seemed to be very layout depenant and my project schedule did not allow for a lot of experimentation. Layout was extremely critical on this part.
Hope this helps.
