As you know, TMS570 has ADREFHI and ADREFLO inputs to map analog inputs into 0x0 - 0xFFF. In most applications, ADREFHI is connected to +5V or +3V and ADREFLO to GND. Instead of these, is it possible to directly read bipolar inputs (-5V to +5V or -3V to 3V) by connecting ADREFLO to -5V or - 3V. If yes, this will eliminate the shifting opamp circuits.
