Has anyone seen any documentation on the Cable Diagnostics (TDR) functionality in the TIVA PHY?  Any application notes, sample software, etc.

    Hi Michael,

    Our built-in PHY on TM4C129x device supports cable link quality monitor, but It doesn't have TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry). Please refer to TM4C129x datasheet for details about how to start/stop monitoring the link quality.

    See: Tiva™ TM4C129ENCPDT Microcontroller DATA SHEET, December 12, 2013, pages 1710-1711 refers to the TDRRUN 

    TDR Auto Run
    This bit is sampled on the deassertion of the PHY reset signal and is
    used as the default for the TDRAR bit of the Ethernet PHY Configuration
    1 (EPHYCFG1) register, PHY offset 0x009.

    and page 1734 refers to the TDRAR bit.

    I find references to Cable Diagnostics, but they lack clear explanation.
