Dear sir,
Could you help to check the Vih and Vil spec of I2C interface? Does
it also refer to GPIO spec (0.65Vcc and 0.35Vcc)? If not, please let me know the spec for
I2C interface.
Thanks!

Hello Jay,
It is the same as the GPIO Spec.

Hi Amit,
Actually I am confused to below description (Vil=0.5V). Our application is on 3.3V power domain, and use P82B96 as I2C extender buffer. You can also see the Vol spec in P82B96 at lower side, it is 0.88V typically. So our concern is that if Vil of TM4C129 is 0.35Vcc, the Vol of P82B96 is no problem. But if Vil of TM4C129 is 0.5V, I can't choose P82B96 as extender buffer.
Please kindly help to clarify the sepc definition, and review the IO voltage level between TM4C129 I2C and P82B96. The information from you is very important to us. Thank you so much!
P82B96:
Hello Jay,
The parameter of rise time is measured from 0.5V to 2.4V. The VIL and VIH for the IO will still hold good from I2C Bus perspective. Also do note that the parameter has a note-(b) which mentions that it is not characterized as the rise time is a function of the Pull Up Resistor and Bus Load.
