How to generate build file..??

I am programming Tiva C launchpad ek-tm4c123gxl. I have created project in CCS v6 from the scratch. I have successfully build project. Now I want to load machine code into launchpad. So i tried to generate binary output file however there is no such option in project property. Can anyone tell me how can i generate binary file?

Which output file format should I select in output format i.e Project options > Build > ARM hex utility > Output format options??

Hello Niral

Can you send the CCS Project Folder as an attachment. I believe doing a custom project file, may end up with more problems than using the existing examples from TIVAWare!!!

There would be either a compilation error or a linker error which prevents the out file generation.

Please check the console logs.

My issue is solved. I have added certain command in "Post-build steps Command box"

I am posting solution here so it will be helpful to others..

Go to Project Properties >> Build >> click on Steps tab >> In Post-build steps paste following line as it is(including quotes)

"${CCS_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/tiobj2bin" "${BuildArtifactFileName}" "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.bin" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/armofd" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/armhex" "${CCS_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/mkhex4bin"

Now rebuild your project. Binary file will be generated under debug folder inside your project.
