Trying to put a down arrow on a button using image button

I can't even get started because I don't understand how to format an image that I can use. pui8Image is a pointer to a image but can I use a bmp or do I have to convert it to some other format? I downloaded GIMP and I took an down arrow icon I had converted to a PNM file but I still have not idea how to use it.

Hi,

Look into your Tiva_installation_folder/tools/pnmtoc/readme.txt how to use the Tiva/tools/bin/pnmtoc.exe file to generate a .c/.h file containing your image. Then add that file to your project and compile/link.

Same thing can be made from GIMP if you "save as…" your file and choose .c file format - but I did not used that, seems to me need more precessing, I can be wrong.
