Creating a timer with RM57?

Hi, I am trying to create a simple timer with RM57.

Just to find out how long some of my routines are taking in seconds.

I do not want to use software timer but possibly by using hardware such as Timebase register.

Anyone knows how to do this?

Try using RTI(Real Time Interrupt Module) which should suffice your need.

I'm also wondering if you have enabled the cache since you said your routines are taking long time. By default after reset the cache is disabled.

Ok, that answers my question.

Another question for you is whether there's a better (more detailed) reference manual for RM57?

Yes, I did.

My routine is a sort of benchmark routine so I expect to run long time.

I am trying to compare the performance with other processors.
