Recommendations for a Cellular Modem to use with Tiva?

Hello,

I've used multiple wireless protocols with Tiva, but not cellular. I have a requirement for a device to communicate with a server over a cellular connection (GSM, CDMA, etc.). Are there any cellular modems that are easy to use? Better yet, are there any cellular modem booster packs?

Hi Derek,

I saw this link before that connects a Stellaris kit to a Janus Cellular Modem. See, if this Janus Modem meets your requirement . If not maybe other variants can.

the best modems with I used was

telit and quectel

I can recommend for you:

but you chooice should depend on what you want to do

Thanks all. I was hoping that TI had some nice little boosterpack hidden away with example code, but no such luck.

I need to get more requirements from the client first. I may end up using a ublox module because they're local.
If there are any cellular module companies out there, please make a boosterpack!
