How to get 32kb code size limited version of IAR workbench?

Hai,

Iam currently working with TIva C launch pads using CCS, i also like to program them using IAR workbench, I red that 32 kb code size limited version of IAR is free,i download IAR workbench and installed, but dont know how to get the licence,the wizard guide only says about the time limited evaluation and full licence.

please let me know how to get 32kb code size limited IAR licence for Tiva...

And - do not even attempt to use the, "unlimited size" version!

Instead - the code-size limited version will initially challenge - but w/effort, persistence your IDE and MCU skills will grow. Should you, "launch" w/the unlimited size version - those 30 days of "free trial" will FLY BY - and inevitably you'll be forced back to 32KB size. Best to start there - and once your skills better develop - only then consider unlimited...

How do you download the IAR-compiled code to a Launchpad? That detail isn't very obvious (and takes the fun out of programming if you can't download your code.)

IAR is a large, pro IDE - some reading of the rather extensive guides proves most helpful.

To your issue - mouse click upon either of the yellow highlighted areas will debug - green pennant will download...
