.out file does not match target endianness

This issue is not related to USB port. Please check the compiler options to make sure that the CPU endianess matches the device. The default TI compiler setting is big endian.

The compiler option lists BE32.  I am using the TMS570, so this should be fine.

I don't see how it could be related to project settings since if I build and tell it to debug through one USB port I get the message, if all I do is move to a different port and tell it to debug again it is fine.  I can also do the reverse, I can debug in the working port, then move the cable to the other port and I get the error.

What debugger are you using? When you connect debugger to CPU, the debug window normally shoes the CPU mode (supervisor, user, etc) and the CPU endianness.

I am using CCS5.4, here is what I see when I go to debug and it fails.  I don't see a place when I don't have the error that it shows the CPU mode or endianness.  Where should it be?
