Designing a PCB with TM4C123

I have a TM4C123GH6PMI. I am very new to microcontrollers, I am doing a project, which I have finished the firmware part using the Launchpad. For the first time, I am designing a PCB.

I need to use, a pair of UART pins, an ADC pin and a digital input pin. Those are the only connections I need to make externally.

How can I learn the basic design requirements for a simple system like mine? The very basics of using a microcontroller like this on a PCB?

  • Hi,

    First download this document: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spma059/spma059.pdf

You will ned to read it several times - but take into account that just at first reading you will have a lot of questions, due to your lack of experience, so, as you will advance with PCB tools also, re-read this document.

The rest depends on PCB tools chosen - it is wise to have someone near you to guide your steps.
