Flash can not erase on DK-TM4C129X

     If you have successfully used the LM Flash Programmer Debug Port Unlock Utility, your microcontroller should be back to factory default, and everything erased.

I already tried Unlock.but Flash couled not erase.

Because blank check was not pass on LMFLASHPROGRAMMER.

Can you try load my code and Unlock.

I checked SYSCTL.DID0 register.This value is 0x100A0000.

 This probrem depends on revision?

I have been able to replicate the issue with the program code you have sent. It seems that the code puts a value of 0x44 at 0xFFF0 because of which it does not work.

I checked the code as well and the placement of .text in FLASH_1 causes the issue. You may have to review what all is there in.text that needs to be relocated, while we try to isolate why the erase is not working for this location...

I would suggest the following workaround in the code. Replace

const volatile unsigned char    C_uc_id_check[4] = { SRX_CPU_ID, 0, 0, 0 };    /* for check Update complete */

with

const volatile unsigned long    C_uc_id_check[4] = { SRX_CPU_ID, 0, 0, 0 };    /* for check Update complete */

Then you can erase using LMFlashProgrammer.

I could Flash erase, when I used const volatile unsigned long. 

But This programe is not working if code puts a value of 0x44 at 0xFFF0.

Because every instruction are 0xFFFFFFFF in main code and _c_int00, when I write with CCS.

Do you know why this program can not write.

I have to explain my customer.

Actuary I do not know why this location need.

My customer need this location, Sorry.

Hello Hiroyasu,

I checked the same and it seems to be a CCS problem. I could use the bin file generated from CCS in LMFlashProgrammer to get the blinky code working.

Also I had to remove the following two lines to avoid erase of the code when blinky is being executed

    FLASH_FMA_R = 0x0000C000;
    FLASH_FMC_R = 0xA4420002;

I checked blinky code working with LMFLASHPROGRAMMER and CCSv6.0.0

It seems to be a CCSv5.4 and  v5.5 probrem.

I recommend CCSv6.0.0.
