question about XDS560v2

In my lab, I found xds560v2 debuger(spectrum digital).

I am looking for TMS4C129x and debuger are compatible.

spectrum digital's XDS560v2 and Ti estore's black hawk XDS560v2 is the same thing?

and spectrum digital's XDS560v2  product that can be used and applied?

    Hello Jun Bum Park,

    If you are using the TM4C129X connected launchpad, then make sure that the header for XDS560V2 (be it any make) have the ARM 10-pin header. This should be mentioned in the product specification.

    I will design embeded board, so i have to select JTAG.

    if it can use XDS560v2 , i will design for it

    Hello Jun Bum Park,

    Typically XDS560V2 is supported but I have used XDS100V2 and V1 debuggers so far without any issue (they are way cheaper than XDS560V2). I can look around and see if I can get a XDS560V2 and test it with the EK-TM4C129X and confirm

    Amit,

    I have been looking around lately for a recommended or compatible JTAG debuggers for TM4C129x devices.  I see you you use XDS100 types, any others?  What are the trade offs amongst them?

    Besides the same, there are 3rd party debuggers which come as part of Keil, IAR Studio, etc IDE. and information about the same can be accessed at the following link under Development Tools

    Hello Amit.

    Could a user unlock the Tiva device with the XDS560v2 JTAG device? (Which is not possible with the XDS100!!)

    Hello PAk,

    XDS560v2 as far as I know does not support SWD (Serial Wire Debug) Interface. Without the support for SWD it would not be possible for the LMFlashProgrammer or the UNIFLASH to unlock the device.
