May I setup every thing of RM48L950 by HALCoGen 04.00.00?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RM48L952, HALCOGEN

Hi There,

I generate the RM48L952 code for CCS v6 by HALCoGo 4.00. I was stuck in the set the interrupt mode. I want a both (rising and falling)  edge trigger interrupt for GIOA. Is there some one know how to set up a both edge interrupte for GIOA by HALCoGo.

Thanks,

B.Rs,

Chuan

  • Hi Chuan,

In case, if you intend to use GIOA for falling and rising edge interrupt, you can use other number of the GIOA port with HALCoGen as you already know. For example, GIOA[0] for falling edge and GIOA[1] for rising edge. But I don't think it was not your intention. Maybe you intend GIOA[0] has to occur interrupt when the channel goes rising edge as well as falling edge. I guess you have to insert some kind of code snippet if you want to use one channel for both edge interrupt since I didn't find any available setting in HALCoGen to trigger interrupt for both kind of edges. So I suggest following.

Firstly, set one type of edge for interrupt at initialization via HALCoGen. When the interrupt was triggered, the code will go to gioNotification() in notification.c. You can insert a code snippet which toggles the polarity of the interrupt into the gioNotification() function.

Please let me know if you have a better idea to use both edge with one gio channel.

  • Travis,

if I am right, a HET-pin can be programmed to Trigger Interrupts both at rising and falling edge. So if Chuan could replace the GIO -pin by any free HET-pin, a dual Interrupt should work.

  • Hi Travis,

Yes, I want use one channel for both edge interrupt. I read the page 994 of SPNU503A, so I can change the

void gioInit(void) in gio.c for set a GIOA(x) to both edge interrupt mode through changing the "intdet" to1.

But I can not find that in HANCoGo like as the interrupt mode set of het.

Others, I like your idea which use two pins for both edge.

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

    Thanks for your reply,

Yes, You are right. The HET can been set to both edge interrupt mode in HANCoGo. Is there same way to set GIO in HANCoGo? If is there any problem when the GIO is used as both edge interrupt mode?.

    Thanks,
