Hello there,

I am trying to program my IC, keeping the costs low as possible.

I wanted to know how can i serially program the controller.?

because there is option of programming the controller using serial (UART) in LM Flash programmer.

Hi,

Here is what is mentioned about Serial (UART) at the Help of the LM Flash Programmer. So, most likely it can be done.

"For a custom board, you must plan for a serial (UART) interface.

You can use the Serial (UART) Interface to program the internal flash of the Stellaris or Tiva microcontroller. "

Are you trying to use a Programer to program your microcontroler in wich you want by UART istead of USB or you want to directly program your microcontroler by UART?

The last option is possible since there is a bootloader for Tiva Microcontrolers
