Help with TMS57004 LEDs

I am just starting out on TI Hercules LaunchPad. I have the TMS57004. I am using this for a school project and previously I only have experience with Arduino.

I followed the instructions on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsVmpH6Pm2U#t=337
However not all the LEDs are lighting on.
I believe it is because I am not defining the correct port pins.

I looked through his pdf, http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/spns186a/spns186a.pdf

but cannot correct it.

How do I know what is the port address by just looking at the board? For example, GIOA2, D12

Ashwani,

The schematics tell you that LED D12 is connected to GIOA2.
So the GIO module is used.

Look in the device datasheet to find out where the GIO module is memory mapped.

On this device, the GIO module is mapped at: 0xFFF7_BC00 as visible on the following screen shoot.

Now you need the Technical Reference Manual to understand how to use the GIO module.

The GIO module is described in chapter 19 on page 744.
