Tiva-C Series SVD Files

Right now the CMSIS Device Header files are not there for TIVA devices. I can check internally when it would be available. Can you let us know if this is for TM4C129 or TM4C123

just for clarification - I am looking for the CMSIS-SVD files which are the XML description of all the

special function registers. The device we are currently adding is the TM4C129. I have the CMSIS-SVD

files for the lm4xxxx devices. I am sure those devices are integrated into CCS, hence some sort of

XML register description should be available. We are a TI toos partner. In the past I used to get this

kind of information from the marketing team in Freising, however those people are no longer with TI.

I would be the contact for CMSIS going forward. Right now I am getting together all the data request for CMSIS files including SVD, official headers, application notes etc.

I'm very glad to see progress on this issue.  I'm specificially interested in official C headers, but if only SVD is available I think they can be derived with tools from ARM.

Two questions:

• Will the material be made publicly available as the LM4 files were, or only available to partners?
• Will CMSIS support for CC3200 and all/any other ARM Cortex-M chips TI produces be included, or only Tiva C-series products?

Is there any hope to have proper SVD files for the TM4C129 series? It's an industry standard, and I every other manufacturer I worked with so far provided them for download?

What's so hard about it?
